Pearls of Promise
Our 30th anniversary Pearls of Promise event was a huge success. We sold out the event at Marbles Kids Museum on Saturday, Sep. 26, 2026. Featuring remarks from both the North Carolina Governor and Lieutenant Governor, alongside emcee ABC 11’s own Diane Wilson, the event wasn’t just a celebration—it was a look back at 30 years of early childhood education legacy in Wake County.
For three decades, Wake County Smart Start has served as the luminous thread connecting the diverse pearls of our partnerships, families, funders, and community. Just as a pearl is formed over time with care, our impact has grown through the intentional layering of resources—ensuring every child in Wake County has the foundation they need to shine.
We've raised $150,00 towards our goal of $300,000.
Join the Legacy
We are thrilled to announce that following the launch of our new endowment, we have already raised $150,000 toward our $300,000 goal by this time next year. We are working hard to reach our target, and you can join the legacy by making a one-time or recurring donation to work alongside us. As a supporter, you aren’t just backing us today—you are establishing a legacy for generations to come.
