Event Information
The Wake County Smart Start Block Party is our biggest community celebration of young children and their families! This free event is designed especially for little ones and the people who love them. Families can enjoy FREE food, music, hands‑on activities, educational giveaways, and helpful resources to support early learning and basic needs.
We’re also bringing together amazing community partners from across Wake County so families can discover local programs, services, and support available to them.
Join us for a joyful day of family fun – created just for Wake County’s littlest residents!
What to Expect
Families will gather at Roberts Park for a full day of fun, including inflatables, art and garden activities, story time, and cooking demonstrations. All activities are designed especially for children ages 0–5, and we welcome everyone in the family to join in the fun.
We’re excited to celebrate our littlest community members, and we’ve created a special calming zone with sensory toys and a quiet space for children who may need a break or extra support. It’s a day built for play, exploration, and comfort for every child.
