This activity provides home visits and group meetings using the Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) model. Services are targeted for parents of children ages 2-5 years, who have limited resources as defined by the Wake County Smart Start Greatest Needs requirement. Visits will be provided to individual families with the frequency required by the HIPPY model, using role play as the method of instruction. Group meetings will be offered at least 6 times per year to support bonding for parents participating in the activity.
