Wake ThreeSchool Site Locations

Discover Wake ThreeSchool (WTS) sites near you. This page helps families see all current program locations and find options that work for them. You can use the map below to search with your home address or your work address (as long as your work is in Wake County). Choose how far you are willing to travel, filter your options, and browse nearby sites that match what you need, all in one place.

How to Use the Interactive Map

  • Type your address (home or work, if your work is in Wake County) into the search box.

  • Choose how far you want to travel (for example: 10 miles, 15 miles, etc.)

  • Select any filters you want to use, such as sites that offer wraparound care or transportation.

  • Hit enter on your keyboard and browse the sites that meet your criteria!

  • Click on a site to see more information about that location.

      Placement Guidelines

       

      If your child is offered placement in the Wake ThreeSchool (WTS) program, we will do our best to place your child at a WTS site that is within 10 miles of the address you provide on your application. This can be your home address or work address (if your work is in Wake County).

      Please note that the WTS application does not include Knightdale Head Start or Parkway Head Start. For more information or to apply to these programs, please visit the Telamon Head Start website.

      Extended Care and Transportation

      Before and After School Care

      Extended care (also called wrap around care) is extra care offered before school, after school, or both. This service is separate from the WTS program. It is not guaranteed at every site, and there may be an additional cost for these extra hours. Families are encouraged to contact their assigned WTS site directly for the most up-to-date information about wrap around care options.

      Some families may qualify for help paying for extended care through Child Care Subsidy.
      Please note: Wake County Child Care subsidy is currently unable to accept applications. If you would like to be placed on the waitlist for services, you can complete a childcare subsidy waitlist form.

      Transportation

      Transportation to and from WTS is the responsibility of the family. Transportation is a separate service and is available at only a few WTS sites. This service is very limited, not guaranteed, and there may be an additional cost. Families are encouraged to contact their assigned WTS site directly for the most up-to-date information about transportation options.
