Iman Lomax is an experienced operations and program management professional with a diverse background spanning public safety, mental health, and higher education. Throughout her career, she has successfully led initiatives focused on organizational growth, community engagement, member retention, and fundraising strategy.

Prior to joining Wake County Smart Start, Iman served as an Associate Director and Executive Sponsor with the National Society of Leadership and Success, where she developed engagement programs that strengthened member participation and loyalty while also creating systems to track and improve engagement metrics.

Iman is a graduate of the University of Baltimore and holds a leadership certification from the International Business Training Association. She also serves as a Board Member for Fundraising and Sponsorships at GRACED Inc., where she has helped expand organizational visibility and increase funding through innovative sponsorship opportunities, strategic social media outreach, and community-centered engagement efforts.

Originally from Queens, Iman now resides in Raleigh. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, traveling, singing, and watching home design and renovation shows. Her passion for empowering others and strengthening communities continues to guide her professional and personal endeavors.
