Toddlers are busy little people. With the right support, you can keep them moving, learning and succeeding.

• While you will not make as many well-child visits to your doctor as you did during the first two years, it’s still important to schedule visits and keep asking your doctor questions. 
• What are the things your toddler should be doing? Why isn’t your child listening? Check out these important milestones for ages two and three.

• Do you think your child’s development may be delayed?
  • Call the Children’s Developmental Services Agency (CDSA) at 919-662-4600 to see if your child would benefit from the Infant Toddler Program, which serves children until they are 3.
  • For children ages 3 and over, please contact the Wake County Public School System Office of Early Learning Preschool Special Education Services (919-431-7700).
  • Another program, Care Coordination for Children (919-250-1154) offers help for families and children at risk for developmental delay or disability, long-term illness and/or social, emotional disorders.  Visit our Wake Connections website to apply.
