More at Four
As the administrator of Wake County's More at Four Pre-K Program, Wake County SmartStart works with the Wake County Public School System, Wake County Human Services and early childhood professionals to ensure high-quality early education is available to 4-year-olds not currently enrolled in preschool. Children served through More at Four attend a full school day, full school year program that meets high-quality state standards. The program is integrated with other early childhood programs in the community, and children participating in More at Four may be served in classrooms in the public schools, licensed child care centers or Head Start programs.
