Partner Agencies & Activities
Wake County SmartStart is pleased to provide information about Wake County SmartStart’s 2012-2013 partners and their activities. For the 2012-2013 fiscal year, Wake County SmartStart is funding 9 partner agencies that offer 14 dynamic programs to children, birth to 5, and their families.
Wake County SmartStart acts as a grant-making organization. The organization provides funding to local non-profits, which are refer to as partners. The organization focuses its funding on partners that provide services to children, birth to 5, and that work to ensure quality child care is accessible and available to all who need it, children are safe and healthy and live in supportive environments, and children are ready for kindergarten.
